It’s that time of year again! Give your students the “Edventure” of a lifetime by applying for a Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) Splash grant for the 2018-2019 school year.
Splash! school grant applications for the 2018–2019 school year are now available for public and charter school K–12 teachers. Splash grants provide funding for hands-on educational opportunities that immerse students in nature. The deadline to apply is August 31, 2018.
What’s new this year? ALL applicants will need to create an account and password before applying. After logging in, make sure to navigate back to the Splash! grant page to apply for the grant using the “APPLY NOW” link.
The Splash program provides grants up to $3,000 per school and are available to schools within the SWFWMD boundaries (click here for map). Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to fund your student’s experiential, STEM-based field trip. Choose from Nature’s Academy’s Coastal Connections, Myakka Mysteries, or Organic Earth Edventures.
